Get to Know Kecia Bland

Thanks so very much for your interest in “Kecia Speaks of Real Estate & Home Life” blog and learning more about Kecia, the ever-changing real estate market and trends, and her thoughts on enriching home life. Kecia Bland, is a full-time professional Broker, serving the Greater Raleigh real estate areas and she loves her professional career at Allen Tate.  Relationships are important to Kecia and based on trust. That’s the foundation of her role in the lives of her clients.

Kecia was born and raised in  North Carolina, and she absolutely loves this state, which offers so much from various activities to different landforms to enjoy – from the steep Blue Ridge mountains to the blue rolling waters of the Coast.  After graduating from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC in 1996, Kecia remained in the area to raise her family and has been a native to the Greater Raleigh area for more than 20 years.  She has also owned several homes here in the Triangle and understands all sides of the real estate transaction firsthand.  She is no stranger to the Greater Raleigh real estate market!realtors_lg_2C

Anyway, growing up in a small town, Hallsboro, North Carolina, located in Columbus County (southeastern portion of the state), Kecia learned a lot about southern hospitality and caring for others.   She appreciates and values service and giving because of her upbringing and genuine personality.  Her hometown community was very small and Kecia knew early on that community was important.  Her parents were educators and eventually her father became a principal.  They made sure that their children were always respectful, honorable, spiritual and represented themselves well.

With that said, sales, hospitality, and customer service are all a part of Kecia!  She’ll “bless your heart” many times, but she also has a strong-willed, aggressive side too!  Great for negotiating on  your behalf.  It’s an honor for Kecia to be able to help families own a piece of the “American Dream.”   It feels great knowing that she’s helped a first-time homebuyer or a family with specific needs move into a house that feels like “home.”

    Yet another great story with a bit of spirituality, good family values, and of course, sharp business sense all into one. I especially like the part where you said make your client’s dreams a reality by selling them a home, which in essence is what you are doing, giving them hope for a brighter future, and letting them see not only the business side of you, but the love and humility of Christ come out of you.

    Keep up the great work, and you’ll find yourself going places you’ve always envisoned, not dream of. With God all things are possible, if we only acknowledge him, and lean not onto our own understanding.
